Sina Sanderink

Hi, I'm Sina, a passionate kitesurfer from Switzerland. My passion for kitesurfing began in 2011. Back then, I lived very far from the water and only went kitesurfing once a year. Since then, I've dreamed of living in tropical, windy places where I could kitesurf. This continued until 2017. Since then, I've been traveling, kitesurfing year-round, and working remotely – working in outsourcing, property management, and digital marketing. Besides freestyle tricks, I love going to the gym and learning digital marketing online.

I've been involved in water sports for as long as I can remember. I was six years old when I started sailing on an Optimist boat. Later, I moved on to windsurfing, and then kitesurfing, wakeboarding, and surfing. I competed in the World Cup for several years. My best results are 3rd place in kitesurfing (Greece 2008), 5th in freestyle (Italy 2008), and 5th in wave (Morocco 2009). Then I started sharing my skills and coaching other competitors and amateurs. My hobby became my passion, and my passion became my job. And my job is still my passion. Lidia Piechota

Lidia Piechota is Zac's mother, a journalist, TV presenter, and blogger. She's a huge fan of extreme sports. Her favorite sport is motherhood. Lidia and her son, Zac, enjoy wakeboarding, windsurfing, longboarding, and snowboarding. Kitesurfing is a new thing in their lives. Lidia believes that trusting the power of the wind is truly special, and she deeply respects that. Lidia creates videos and writes about commitment, truth, and passion in life. Many parents look to her for advice. They ask Lidia not only for guidance in raising children, but also for advice on buying their little skateboarders their first skateboard. She's open to human diversity, which makes her life truly picturesque. She's currently moving to a cottage in the woods on the outskirts of her hometown to spend time with her children outdoors and breathe deeply.

Katarzyna Jaklewicz

I started kitesurfing in 2014 in Vietnam, and from that moment on, I knew I'd found a new passion. I noticed that girls were only a small minority of kitesurfers anywhere in the world. It's a shame, because this sport is perfect for women! It's all about skill (not strength) and doesn't require a high level of fitness to get started. What's more, anyone can start learning, regardless of age! I decided to do something about it, and in 2015, I founded a community for girls who love kitesurfing. Since 2016, I've been organizing Kite & Wake camps for girls who dream of trying kitesurfing or want to progress in a friendly, supportive environment. I'm so proud of all the girls who join us! There's nothing more satisfying than watching them overcome the initial challenges and enjoy their first starts with a smile!
