Freeride

Freeride boards are fine all-rounders . They usually have a soft flex and a slight rocker. As the name suggests, these boards are so good for free-riding. This means that, if you like cruising back and forth and making a simple jumps, then these boards are perfect for you.

WHAT SIZE OF A TWINTIP SHOULD I CHOSE ?

WHAT KIND OF BOARD FITS MY SKILLS?

Just take a short look at our diagram, We are sure that it clears your mind :)

WHAT FLEX IS GOOD FOR ME?

SOFT FLEX

These boards flex easily, is very pleasant to ride since they attenuate the impact of choppy water.

Our soft flex boards: Prorider TM

MEDIUM FLEX

Those boards are good all-rounders, with a good pop for jumps, and enjoyable ride.

Our medium flex boards: Freeride boards

HARD FLEX

Boards with a hard flex have the maximum possible pop and are mainly used by professionals and advanced riders. They offer less riding comfort than other boards (soft or medium flex).

Our boards with a hard flex: OTE Carbon | Prorider 3D | Proseries Carbon

BOOTS OR STRAPS?

We highly recommend using straps since the risk of injury is lower . Boots allow you transfer more force to the board, enabling you to set up tricks more effectively. However the landings and falls are much harder, since the force is transferred to the knee and you can't get out of the board.
Generally speaking,

  • if you mainly perform hooked tricks,or just enjoying free ride use straps.
  • if you mainly perform unhooked tricks, use boots.

REMEMBER THAT BOARD MUST BE REINFORCED FOR BOOTS, OTHERWISE INSERTS CAN BE DAMAGED.

CLOSER TO HEELSIDE

IF YOU SUFFER PAIN IN SHINS; MOVE POSITION TOWARDS HEELS FOR EASIER EDGING.
